Get cooking

New to Thursdays is the Creative cooking and nutrition programme run by the “Bite Me Corner” team. Heald from 4-6pm, it is aimed at children between 8-12 years old and teaches them confidence through cooking. This after school programme allows parents and guardians to take a back seat whilst the children bring out their creative culinary skills in a fun and nurturing environment!

Booking is required and each session costs £8

Inject some Soul

On the 7 and 21 June,  between 5-7:30 pm head down to the Yellow Pavilion and get involved with the Soul cookery club. Learn how to make healthy meals and meet new people. The class is free and no booking is required.


Stitch and knit

If you are looking for a new hobby, then come down on Sunday mornings between 10-1130am  for knitting for beginners. This four-week class costs £20 and includes all materials. It will introduce you to the basics of knitting and is a great way to socialise and meet new people.

For the little ones

Kids ages 7-11 can also join in the creative fun on Tuesday evenings between 4-5pm. “Sewing hands” will teach kids the basics of hand sewing and how to use a machine. Classes cost £5 and booking is required.


Lights, Camera, Action

If you are aged 14-18 and interested in acting come down to the yellow Pavilion every Thursday from June 8 from 6:30.  The Tricycle Theatre’s drama workshop will run until the 6 July and offers the perfect opportunity to develop acting skills, play drama games and work together with a professional theatre director. The workshops are open to all, no experience required and are free of charge.
