Free things to do in Wembley Park
There are so many exciting things to discover at Wembley Park you will be spoilt for choice. However if you’re looking for free things to do, we’ve pulled together the top things to do for free.
Get green fingered
Whether you have a garden, balcony, or windowsill you can learn some fun and creative gardening techniques at Urban Gardening at the Yellow Pavilion. Held every Tuesday from 13:00 – 15:00, it’s a fun way to meet new people and learn new skills. In the hands-on sessions, you’ll get the opportunity to grow flowers and food, and occasionally even get involved with some jam making sessions. The all-round class even teaches you how to build your own personal flower boxes out of wood. All material is provided and you even get to take your creations home with you, so all you have to do is come down and join in – and be prepared to get your fingers a little dirty. If you’d like to find out more about the sessions contact firstname.lastname@example.org for details.
Something for the Kids
If your children are aged between 5 and 12, why not keep them entertained with some free street dancing lessons at the Yellow Pavilion. They can learn some basic moves, make new friends and have fun while you browse the shops at LDO. Classes are held on Saturdays from 17:30 – 18:30 and there is no need to book. For more information Contact Fagee on 0787 593 3770
Something for the mind
Relax and start the week with a chilled out vibe. Every Sunday the Yellow Pavilion offers free yoga from 08:45 – 09:45. The class is suitable for all abilities and ages and focuses on breathing, meditation, relaxation and light exercise to enhance the immune system and improve mobility. Contact email@example.com for details or to book your place.
