The Tour Series is coming back to Wembley Park on Tuesday 29 May and this year is set to be bigger and faster than ever. Get ready for an entire day of fun-filled family activities. To make the most of it, why not come down early and take advantage of all the fun events dotted around the race course. Not sure what to expect? well, check out the line up for the day.
From 12:30 the family fun zone will be open for everyone to enjoy. The Tour series is a family affair and a festival of cycling, with a range of fun activities during the day for everyone to enjoy. Head down to Arena Square and get stuck into some fun and games. Try your luck at “hook a bike stand”. Not sure what that is? Well, think of the classic hook your duck, but this time you get to hook a cycle! There will even be a balance bike race for the toddlers to enjoy, everyone is catered for at this event.
Fantastic stunts and games
There will also be another twist on a classic fairground game; Tin can Alley is perfect for those with a competitive streak. Instead of knocking down coconuts you will have 1 minute to knock down a stack of mini bikes for a chance to get to the top of the leaderboard. For those who want to experience what it is like to be a pro cyclist, there will be a virtual reality cycling course for you to try.
Guinness world record breaker and Mountain bike trials champion Andrei Burton will also be performing his stunt display, which is not for the faint-hearted. Currently, he has broken five records for the ‘most jumps between two platforms in one minute.’ Will he be going for another record in Wembley Park? There will also be a range of performance from local talent, from singers and dancers to entertain you throughout the day.
Youth support races
The exciting Youth races will be held from 2pm. Watch young people have a race around the track, test their skills and compete on this fast-paced course.
