Visit the Wednesday food market and have a picnic on the lawns

The Wednesday food market is the perfect antidote for the mid-week slump. Held each week from 10:00am – 3:00pm on Market Square, it merges locally produced food, global cuisine, street food and seasonal menus to form an irresistible melting pot of pure deliciousness.

Completely packed with fragrant flavours, the Wednesday market is the perfect place for a quick bite at lunchtime and with a wide variety of options, you will be spoilt for choice. You can feast on a free range pie or a giant 80z burger, get stuck into some fine classic French cuisine or Italian homemade seasonal pasta, nibble on a lamb or falafel wrap or just get carried away with jerked ham hock sourdough roll smothered in melted Raclette cheese.

Just enjoy being in Wembley Park

If the little ones still need to get rid of some energy, they can have fun in the all-weather playpark, with its swings, slides and climbing frames set on a spongy grass slope, or dance in the fountains and run through Wembley Park’s open boulevards and squares. Other than on event days, the fountains on Arena Square will be on in the summer months.
