Maggie’s Bar has popped up at Wembley Park

The 80’s are back for the festive season and Wembley Park are paying homage to the decade with a Maggie’s Bar popup. You don’t have to be decked out in double denim, brave a mullet or know the words to Club Tropicana, but it all helps to get you in the mood as you get stuck into some tasty cocktails.

Maggie’s Bar is set under Slideatron, a 20m LED scaffold Christmas tree with a sky-high viewing platform and an 18m thrill slide that is completely FREE to ride. So before you get lost in the world of 80’s power pop classics, why not enjoy the slide and become part of history to ride the world’s first LED tree slide!

Get into the Groove

All that sliding will make you thirsty and Maggie’s Bar offers some retro classics. Cocktails feature prominently on the drinks list and a must try is the gigantic fish bowl which is not for the faint hearted. Pull up a pew and one of the Rubik’s Cube seats, which also double up as great selfie spots. If you are feeling festive, there are also mulled wine and cider to get you in the mood.

Walk This Way

Now  – we never advocate drinking on an empty stomach and have ensured that there is a great street food offering on hand. A few feet away is the street food market where you can get stuck into to some jerk chicken and rice and peas from Mama’s Jerk. Chow down on a Korean BBQ special from Food Gangnam Style, or satisfy your sweet tooth with a treat from Coffee.
