1. Get down to Wembley Park!

London’s newest cultural destination – just a 20-minute Tube ride from the West End – is getting into the festive spirit, as Xmasbox lights up the dark nights with spectacular illuminations across Wembley Park from 21 November-5 January. From contemporary art installations to vintage markets – not to mention an abundance of fabulous restaurants and ravishing retailers – Wembley Park is the perfect Christmas day out for all the family.

2. Lose yourself in a maze of light

Market Square is transformed into a kaleidoscope of colour in this mesmerising installation from Spanish design studio Brut Deluxe. Never before seen in London, The Light Maze is an Instagrammer’s paradise – so make sure you snap a selfie as you wander through the dazzling, colour-shifting walls of this labyrinth of light.

3. Feel the love

Wembley’s famous Spanish Steps have been given a festive makeover by international design journal Disegno. Its artists have created a stunning 3D trompe-l’oeil, bearing the legend ‘LOVE LOVE LOVE’ in giant illuminated letters, set against a brilliant gold background.

4. Go see Fata Morgana

We’ve commissioned a Christmas tree for the 21st century, confined within the dimensions of an international shipping container – in a nod to the units used to construct our all new Boxpark Wembley. Consisting of 160 tightly strung green ribbons and towering 20ft above Arena Square, this stunning contemporary Nordic forest is simply unmissable.

5. Party at Boxpark

After months of anticipation, Boxpark Wembley is throwing open its doors at last – just in time for the festive season. It all kicks off with a massive launch party on Saturday 8 December, hosted by Rinse FM and showcasing some of the UK’s finest urban and bass music talent.
