Wembley Park – Before and After
Wembley Park was first noted as a destination for Londoners in 1894, and has since developed a rich heritage. In 1923 the Stadium was opened to stage the British Empire Exhibition. The SSE Arena was built in 1934, and was orginally known as the Empire Pool and then Wembley Arena.
Quintain bought the land in 2002 and began the work of transforming this much loved area into a new leisure and residential hub for London.
The before and after photographs below show just how much the area has change since it first opened.
