Wembley Park Construction art workshop

As part of the Wembley Park construction school engagement programme, Wembley Park delivered a workshop with 32 school children aged 9 -10 years old.

The art workshop was themed around construction sites and health and safety.  The children were able to try on PPE and discuss the importance of maintaining a well-managed, safe environment.

They learnt about different vehicles and what job opportunities there are in construction. The children created colourful images including tower cranes, diggers and different people in construction roles. Alongside messages to construction workers to ‘Come home safety’

“Thank you very much for a fantastic afternoon painting yesterday! The children loved it: hope you did too!” Miss Pipkin, teacher St Joseph RC Junior School.

This project is part of a wider school engagement programme where the class visit site every six months to see the development, meet the team and take part in different construction challenges. For more information please visit

We would like to thank the children and teachers for their on-going involvement in this project, delivered in partnership with Sisk and Quintain.
