Yellow Pavilion’s Summer Camp success
Wembley Park’s community space, The Yellow Pavilion, has been jam-packed with noise and fun and copious amounts of glitter over the last weeks. A new summer camp launched on 21 July offering local children somewhere to meet, have fun and try out new things in their holidays.
So far we have seen children enjoying dance, drama, sports, games and excursions. When we caught up with them they were on a trip to London Designer Outlet, stopping for a play in the fountains… It was great to see so many happy children enjoying the activities.
Rebecca Beeson, who oversees The Yellow Pavilion for Quintain, said, “We’ve been delighted with the success of this project. The aim was to offer affordable childcare in the summer when we know it’s difficult for many families with parents who work, and when children want to find interesting things to do. Feedback from children and their parents has been great.”
The Summer Camp is run by a Ofsted-registered team and will continue until 19 August. It caters for children aged between 5 and 12 and runs from 8am to 6pm every day.
