Youth Stories of Brent
Brent Council and Wates Living Space have launched a new film project called Youth Stories of Brent.
The Youth Stories of Brent film project trains young people (13-19 years old) in the art of short filmmaking.
This project and the final documentary produced will aim to tell the story of inspirational youth in Brent and showcase young peoples’ transformational journeys.
As well as film training, there will also be a series of workshops across the borough in various schools and youth groups, these will be used to identify young peoples motivational stories and give them the opportunity to have input in the content of the film.
Once the film is completed the hard work of the young people will be celebrated with a special film premiere and launch event which will be held at Brent Civic Centre this summer.
