Union Park
Say hello to Union Park, the first major park to open in our neighbourhood in 150 years.
Adding to the variety of pocket parks, play areas and water features around Wembley Park, Union Park will be an amazing green addition to the neighbourhood where you can relax and enjoy some fresh air.
The seven-acre park will feature a bandstand, children’s play areas, sports zones and a relaxing urban meadow, creating physical and mental health benefits.
The new Union Park has been designed with community at its heart: a place where residents and visitors will be able to experience nature, enjoy unique water features, engage with play areas and performance spaces in a prime location, steps away from the iconic Olympic Way and National Stadium.
The southern section is now open and ready for everyone to enjoy. It features a children’s paddling pool, outdoor sports training equipment, playgrounds, an (amazing) pond and games area where you can play your favourite sports. All free and accessible, for everyone to enjoy.
You will be amazed by the wildflowers, lush lawns, new trees, and refreshing fountains. There will be a dedicated area for pets to enjoy some ‘pet time’ off their lead...and even a bug hotel!
Opening in two years, the northern section of Union Park will have more stunning water features, a community centre, public art - even free year-round music from the bandstand.
