Wembley Park's interactive digital artwork, 'The Shadow Wall' by Jason Bruges Studio, has been nominated for two peoples choice awards.
The light-sensitive canvas, located under the Royal Route underpass, mimics the shadows and silhouettes of passers by, creating a monochromatic media artwork referencing the ebb and flow of crowds entering and departing. Created by world-renowned artist Jason Bruges, the permanent artwork has now been nominated for two awards - both of which are open for public voting.
'The Shadow Wall' has been selected as one of the top 100 most successful design projects that integrate commissioned art into an interior, architectural, or public space. The voting is now open for the public to choose their favourite artpieces. The two People’s Choice winners and the ten category winners selected by the jurors will be announced with a global media campaign and on CODAworx, on August 31, 2020. Voting closes June 30th.
Jason Bruges' Wembley Park installation has also achieved Runner Up status in Core77 Design Awards Interaction category and is now up for Community Choice Prize. Recognizing excellence in all areas of design enterprise, the Core77 Design Awards annually celebrates the richness of the design profession as well as the insight and perseverance of its practitioners. Voting closes July 7th.
