History of Police

Launched in 1983 by the De Rigo brothers, Police is an Italian fashion brand. The brothers originally ran a company called Charme Lunettes which manufactured sunglasses, frames and components and this later paved the way for the Police brand.

By 1988 they had established their first subsidiaries in Germany and Austria and the brothers decided to pursue the international route. The brand picked up traction over the next two decades and by 2004 big names in sports like David Beckham and Michael Schumacher were acting as the face of their campaigns.
