Sole Trader began in the 1940s as a wholesaler. They imported and sold footwear from Spain and Eastern Europe to British retailers. As the popularity of imported footwear grew, Sole Trader soon founded their own retail chain.
The first Sole Trader store opened in St Albans in 1962 and to this day the brand prides itself on bringing the hottest footwear to the high street.
