The musical tells the life story of Chaka Khan, from her rise to fame as lead singer of Rufus through to her solo career. It covers her passion for civil rights, the pressures of the music industry, addiction, and motherhood.

The show features her best-known songs including I Feel For You, Ain't Nobody, Sweet Thing, Through the Fire, Higher Love and Tell Me Something Good.

The production has a book by Nia T. Hill, direction by Racky Plews, choreography by Ebony Clarke and music supervision by Mark Crossland. It is produced by Adrian Grant Productions in association with Chaka Khan. The musical premiered earlier in 2026 with performances at Hackney Empire, Belgrade Theatre Coventry and Congress Theatre Eastbourne before transferring to Wembley Park.

Getting here

The fastest and easiest route is by tube. Wembley Park station (Metropolitan and Jubilee lines) is a ten-minute flat walk along Olympic Way directly to the stadium gates. On show nights trains run every 3–4 minutes from central London. Baker Street takes 12 minutes. King's Cross takes around 20 minutes.

Wembley Stadium station (Chiltern Railways, 9 minutes from Marylebone) is another option. We strongly recommend public transport on show nights — roads around the stadium are heavily managed on event days.

    The nearest station is Wembley Park on the Metropolitan and Jubilee lines. The theatre is around a 10-minute walk from the station via Olympic Way and Fulton Road.

    If you are driving, there is parking available across the Wembley Park estate. Plan your route home in advance, especially for evening performances.

  2. Where can I park near Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre?

    Wembley Park offers over 3,000 secure parking spaces across several official zones. Red Parking is the most convenient option, located just a short walk from the theatre's entrance. Pink Parking is the primary hub for cars and coaches, roughly a 12-minute walk from the venue. Blue Badge spaces are available in all official car parks but must be booked early. Pre-booked parking is a flat rate of £40.00 per car on event days. Always use Wembley Official Parking for bookings — unofficial pop-up car parks in the area are not insured.   3. How do I get to Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre by bus?

    Wembley Park is exceptionally well-served by London buses. Key routes include 83, 182, 206, 223, 297 and N83 stopping within a 5-minute walk of the stadium. The flat fare is £1.75 per journey using contactless, mobile wallet or Oyster. The Hopper fare allows unlimited bus transfers within one hour of your first touch-in. Buses are cashless — no cash accepted. Use the TfL Go app for real-time arrivals on the day of your show.

  4. How do I get to Wembley Park by coach?

    There is no dedicated coach service to Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre. If you are travelling from outside London by coach, National Express and Megabus run regular services into London Victoria Coach Station. From there, take the Victoria line to Oxford Circus and change to the Bakerloo line for Wembley Central, or take the Victoria line to Finchley Road and change to the Metropolitan line for Wembley Park. The journey takes around 40 minutes. FlixBus also serves Victoria Coach Station from a wide range of UK cities. Wembley Park station is a five-minute walk from the theatre.

  5. Can I cycle to Wembley Park?

    Yes. Wembley Park offers dedicated bicycle parking at street level on the northeast side of the stadium. Wembley Park's Active Travel Team has created downloadable cycle route maps covering shared routes with pedestrians, designated cycle lanes and cycle parking. Plan your route in advance, bring a strong bicycle lock, and allow extra time for your journey. Be cautious leaving the stadium after the concert due to heavy pedestrian and vehicle traffic.

Wembley Park has plenty of places to eat and drink within walking distance of the theatre.

Arrive early if you want a pre-show meal or a drink before curtain up. The venue has its own restaurant and cocktail bar, Studio Five, where you can enjoy a meal and drinks in total relaxation before or after the show.

The area around Olympic Way and Arena Square has a good mix of restaurants and casual dining options that work well for a theatre evening.

BOXPARK Wembley is a short walk from the theatre and works well as a pre-show or post-show stop, with street food vendors and bars across two levels.

It is a relaxed option if you want to grab something quick before curtain up or unwind after the show.

Where to drink before and after I'm Every Woman

Street drinking is not permitted across the Wembley Park estate, so head to one of the nearby bars or pubs instead.

There are several options within a few minutes of the theatre, whether you want a quick pre-show drink or somewhere to sit and talk about the show afterwards.
