Spray paint on concrete, 2025

Titled Lust for Life, this large-scale mural pays tribute to global icon Lana Del Rey and marks the latest addition to the Wembley Park Art Trail.

Created by British street artist HUMOR in collaboration with MurWalls, the mural is painted entirely by hand using spray paint. It features a portrait of Del Rey seated in a 1950s turquoise pickup truck – a nod to the nostalgic Americana that defines much of her aesthetic. The mural stretches over 20 square metres and now defines Lana Lane, a newly named walkway next to the viral Swiftie Steps.

Positioned on the side wall of the Spanish Steps, it greets thousands of fans walking up to Wembley Stadium. The piece references Lana’s 2017 album Lust for Life and captures the cinematic, melancholic world her music evokes.

Following the success of 2023’s Taylor Swift murals, the collaboration with HUMOR and MurWalls continues Wembley Park’s commitment to public art that resonates with music lovers. Lust for Life joins over 30 other works featured in the free, open-air Wembley Park Art Trail.

“There’s always pressure when creating portraits, but we’re thrilled with the result. We hope fans connect with the energy and emotion behind the piece.”
