A rich tapestry of lyrics and imagery, the “…Ready For It?” mural unfolds beneath Frank Styles' "Auras" on the wall that supports the Spanish Steps - now temporarily renamed "Swiftie Steps", a visual symphony celebrating Taylor Swift's musical journey and sold-out concerts at Wembley Stadium.
The 6x6 metre spray paint on concrete artwork captures the boundless creativity Swift inspires in artists and fans worldwide. It was conceived and created in collaboration by MurWalls & HUMOR, a Tunbridge Wells based street artist.
The mural features a stunning, life-like portrait of the artist. Lyric fragments are interwoven across the artwork, inspired by Swift's Songbook and paying homage to her unique songwriting talent. Hidden within the design are subtle "Easter eggs" – nods to Swift's personal life and career – a tribute to the encyclopaedic knowledge of HUMOR's girlfriend, Alice, for whom the mural is a heartfelt gift.
My girlfriend Alice's passion for Taylor's music was my muse. The mural is the cherry on top of her concert experience at Wembley, a celebration of her love for Taylor.
