Spanish Steps, Digital Design on Graphic Vinyl, 2023
The centrepiece of our 'Equilibrium' commissions, 'Steps of Change' is a bespoke digital design installation by Acrylicize, connecting with the UN's theme for International Women's Day 2023 of “DigitALL: Innovation and technology for gender equality”. The three designs that run up the Spanish Steps in Wembley Park convey a sense of of balance and equilibrium, while also aiming to celebrate the growth and power of women in the digital world and tech, paving the way for the future.
Artist Bio
Acrylicize is a multidisciplinary studio made up of artists, designers, creatives, and craftsmen. They create and curate bespoke artworks, installations, and schemes for their clients using art as a vehicle for storytelling and brand expression. By blending in-house creation with external curation and amplifying the results through custom activations, Acrylicize helps clients celebrate their culture and identity in any space whilst supporting the arts at both a global and local scale.
Equilibrium
Launching for International Women's Day 2023, 'Equilibrium' features a new major series of free public artworks by an all-female line up of international artists, curated by London-based multidisciplinary studio, Acrylicize. Adding to the existing free Wembley Park Art Trail, 'Equilibrium' explores the female artists' own ideas on balance, unity, harmony, and equality, whilst celebrating the coming together of multiple disciplines, backgrounds and influences.
