The Wishing Tree

A giant climbable art installation set against iconic Wembley Stadium where families write wishes that become part of the artwork. Free to join, unforgettable to experience.

London's First Tree on Steps

Sit on them, climb them, wander through the colours and discover children's wishes hidden in plain sight. Every step is a little moment of magic waiting to be found.

(And yes, it's the perfect festive photo spot.)

Make memories that stick around

Your child's handwritten wish becomes part of this 30ft artwork, sitting alongside hundreds of other families' hopes and dreams. Created by London studio IWANT Design, the mural transforms Wembley Park's Spanish Steps - the route between Wembley Stadium and OVO Arena Wembley - into something you'll want to come back and see again and again.

How your child can add their wish to the tree

Turn your visit into a festive treasure hunt. Here's how to make your mark on the artwork:

1 - Pick up your wish kit at Guest Services

Head to Guest Services at London Designer Outlet (Level 1, next to Clarks) and grab your free metallic 'light' sticker and coloured marker. Choose your favourite colour from the range available.

Open Monday–Saturday 10am–8pm; Sunday 11am–7pm

2 - Write your wish

Help your child write their Christmas wish on the shiny sticker. What will they wish for?

3 - Find your matching circle

Walk down to the Spanish Steps (one minute from LDO) and turn it into a game – can your child climb the steps and spot an empty coloured circle that matches their sticker?

4 - Stick it down and make it official

Once they've found their perfect match, press the wish onto the tree. Done! They're now part of Wembley Park's festive masterpiece.
