Step inside our bustling marketplace, where new stories are waiting to be discovered. Through hands-on creative activities, you and your family will revisit the world of Fireside Tales, their immersive show which closed this January.
This event is primarily for Brent locals but open to all.
What’s happening at the Family Day?
- Join in a storytelling adventure that brings your imagination to life
- Take part in creative activities inspired by the elements
- Share your voice by adding your own story to our marketplace collection
If your family likes getting creative, making things, or telling stories, then go and join them. Perfect for ages 7–11 (but open to all), this event is for families local to Brent to come together and get creative.
Choose from four time slots: 10.00–11.30am, 11.30am–1.00pm, 2.00–3.30pm or 3.30–5.00pm. You’re welcome to drop in at any point within your chosen session.
The 11.30am-1.00pm session will be relaxed, meaning that capacity is smaller, a calm space and sensory aids will be available, as well as sound and light levels will be reduced. There will also be a BSL interpreter present at this session.
Joining their Family Day line-up are the amazing Kinspiration CIC and Annie's Kids Club, bringing creativity, play and community to the event.
There are only limited spaces available for the relaxed session. If your family won't benefit from these modifications, please consider booking a different time slot.
Tickets go on-sale to their Brent mailing list on Monday 12th January. Tickets will be available to everyone from Friday 16th January.
This event is free. Punchdrunk Enrichment is a charity, to support the running of this event they ask for a suggested donation of £2 per family.
As someone who has dedicated their career to providing platforms for youth voice, ‘Fireside Tales’ stands as an exciting opportunity for the children of Brent and beyond to share their stories with the world. For millennia, we have gathered to share tales of resilience, hope and home — in an increasingly isolating world, it’s essential we hold on to that spark of imagination and the flame of community spirit.
