Bellator Champions Series

Bellator Champions Series London will be headlined by a Middleweight World Championship Rematch between Johnny Eblen and Fabian Edwards in Wembley Park!

Bellator Champions Series London at the OVO Arena Wembley will play host to a huge rematch for the Bellator Middleweight World Championship as Johnny Eblen looks to defend against Fabian Edwards on 14 September.

The Professional Fighters League (PFL), the fastest growing and most innovative sports league, tannounced that Bellator Champions Series London at the OVO Arena Wembley on 14 September will play host to a huge rematch in the main event as undefeated Bellator Middleweight World Champion Johnny Eblen (15-0) will face-off once again with Fabian Edwards (13-3).

The two athletes previously fought at Bellator 299 in Dublin on 23 September 2023, where Johnny finished the fight via TKO in the third round and emotions flew high in the immediate aftermath. Since then, the American went on to pick up a win over Impa Kasanganay at PFL vs. Bellator: Champs vs. Champs for the Middleweight Super Belt, whilst Fabian bounced back with a unanimous victory against Canada’s Aaron Jeffery this past March to earn his rematch.

Fight fans can purchase tickets for Bellator Champions Series London from 10:00am BST Thursday 20th June to witness England’s own Fabian Edwards try to win gold for the first time in his Bellator career in front of a home crowd.

“We love bringing our shows to London as they always bring the energy, and they have some of the most knowledgeable fanbases in the world when it comes to mixed martial arts, so we knew we had to give them a world-class fight and we sure have delivered.” Said Peter Murray, CEO of PFL.

He continues: “Our Middleweight division is stacked with incredible athletes and tough fighters, and we know the winner on 14 September at the OVO Arena Wembley will be the best in the world at their weight class, and I can’t wait to find out who will be left standing in the middle with their hand raised.”

Bellator Champions Series London will stream live in the U.S. on Max, and in the U.K. on DAZN beginning at 5 pm BST, while locally in the Republic of Ireland, the event will be aired on Virgin Media Television.
