About City String Ensemble

City String Ensemble is one of London’s most sought-after string groups, known for their cinematic takes on contemporary music.

Formed at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, they’ve played everywhere from celebrity parties to the Bridgerton world premiere — and they’re also the team behind London’s famous Candlelight Concerts, performing in some of the city’s most iconic venues.

With classical covers of artists like Beyoncé, Billie Eilish, and now Lana Del Rey, they blend elegance, drama, and emotion in every note. Over 500,000 streams — and counting.
