Power of YOU Community Crafts

Get creative, get connected. Join Kinspiration for a free inclusive crafts session at Estadio Lounge- a welcoming, hands-on morning for families and children of all abilities.

Power of YOU Community Crafts is a free, inclusive arts session run by Kinspiration at Estadio Lounge, right here in Wembley Park. Funded by Brent Health Matters and supported by Wembley Park, it's a relaxed, friendly space where families come together to make things, meet people and enjoy a creative morning out, no experience needed.

Each session brings a different hands-on activity, designed to be accessible and fun for children of all ages and abilities. Past sessions have seen families making colourful paper flowers and fans, with community add-ons like a mini bake sale run by one of the young attendees. Local services and health information are sometimes shared by guest representatives from Brent Health Matters too, so there's always something to take away beyond the crafts table.

Sessions are led by Kinspiration's Annie Ahmadi-Gestoso in partnership with Annie's Kids Club, with support from volunteers including Estadio Lounge staff, community parents and young people who've grown up attending the programme themselves. It's a community effort, and it shows.

Over the Summer Holidays 2026, sessions run once a week. Places are limited to around 30–50 children and their families to keep things calm and personal, so booking in advance is essential, sessions fill up fast.

Good to know

  1. Who are the sessions for?

Sessions primarily support children and families within Kinspiration's community network, including referrals from schools, health professionals and local organisations. Families of children with additional needs, disabilities or social and emotional challenges are especially welcome. Where spaces are available, other local families are warmly invited too.

  2. What age are the crafts suitable for?

Activities are generally designed for children aged 3-11, though younger siblings and older children are often welcome when accompanied by a parent or carer. Crafts are adaptable to suit different ages and abilities, and families are encouraged to take part together.

  3. Is it free?

Yes. Sessions are funded by Brent Health Matters and supported by Wembley Park, so there's no cost to attend. Donations to support Kinspiration's work are welcomed where possible.

  4. How long does each session last?

Sessions run for approximately two hours. Families must stay with their children throughout.

  5. How do I book?

Book via Instagram DM through Kinspiration's community announcements. Follow @kinspirationcic and @annieskidsclub for upcoming dates, booking information and any last-minute changes.

  6. Can I just turn up on the day?

Unfortunately not. Due to high demand and limited capacity, advance booking is essential. Walk-ins cannot be guaranteed a place.

  7. Are sessions suitable for children with additional needs?

Inclusion is at the heart of the programme. Many attending children have additional needs, disabilities or social and emotional challenges. Activities are flexible and adaptable, and facilitators have extensive experience in SEND, trauma-informed practice and inclusive education. Families with specific support needs are encouraged to contact Kinspiration ahead of their visit.

  8. Is the venue accessible?

Yes. Estadio Lounge is wheelchair accessible. Buggies and prams are welcome, though space can be limited during busy sessions, please mention this when booking.

  9. Can I volunteer?

Kinspiration is always glad to hear from people who'd like to get involved. Get in touch via Instagram to find out about current volunteer opportunities.
