Young Frankenstein - free screening

Join The Yellow and Filmscope for a free screening of Young Frankenstein.

Several years after living down his family reputation, an American descendant of Dr Frankenstein inherits his infamous scientist grandfather's castle, where he discovers a book full of his granddad's experiments and starts reworking them. Young Frankenstein is considered as the original and best film in the Horror comedy spoof genre and a homage to the various film adaptations of Mary Shelley's 1818 novel produced by Universal Pictures in the 1930s. Shot in beautiful monochrome black and white, the film's cast includes some of the leading comedians of its time, including Gene Wilder, Marty Feldman, Cloris Leachman and Mel Brooks. Full of wacky characters and zany performances, the film will have you screaming with laughter by the end.

Doors open at 6.30pm for a 7.30pm start. Book your free ticket here.
