The Pret a Manger Story

Friends Julian Metcalfe and Sinclair Beecham bought the branding for Pret a Manger from a liquidated shop in Hampstead and turned it into their own empire. Their first store opened near Victoria Station in 1986 and since then they have expanded to over 450 shops in nine countries. They then launched their vegetarian brand, Veggie Pret in 2016.
