At a glance
Married couple Tim and Conor have rented with Quintain Living in Wembley Park since 2016, when the company was called Tipi, which makes them two of its longest-standing residents. In this Park Life magazine interview, they name Studio Five at Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre, Black Sheep Coffee and Masalchi as hidden gems, alongside The White Horse, Estadio Lounge and BOXPARK. Their highlights include Wembley Park Pride, International Busking Day and the fireworks from the Wembley Stadium arch, and they walk to Fryent Country Park and the Welsh Harp (Brent Reservoir). They say renting from Quintain Living gives them good apartments, friends made at resident events, and the consistency of a company landlord.

Tim and Conor told Wembley Park's editorial team what they love about the neighbourhood, from hidden gem restaurants to fireworks over the Stadium arch. This interview was originally published in Wembley Park's Park Life magazine, so some of the details may have changed since; we've added notes where we know they have.
Tell us a bit about yourselves
We're in our early 40s, have been married since 2019 but together for over 21 years. Conor works in finance for a bank and Tim is the Diversity and Inclusion Leader for a large technology company. We've lived in Wembley for over 18 years and in Wembley Park itself since 2016, when we first started renting from Quintain Living (then Tipi).
What do you love about the neighbourhood?
We like the diversity that exists in the area and the change that we've seen over the years as Wembley Park has developed into what we see today. There's so much to do and more things opening all the time. It's great having the London Designer Outlet and Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre on our doorstep, and all the places to eat and drink like The White Horse, Estadio Lounge and BOXPARK. Then obviously there's the Stadium and Arena, which, between them, always ensure that there's a buzz around the area. We're also looking forward to even more services opening, like the new GP surgery.
Editor's note: Wembley Park Medical Centre, the new GP surgery on Humphry Repton Lane, opened in 2024.
Are there any hidden gems your neighbours should know about?
Studio Five in the Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre is a great restaurant that people often overlook. Black Sheep Coffee does a good clover club cocktail and Masalchi is also great for food and its range of cocktails.
What have been your most memorable moments as residents?
We loved the Dolly Parton tribute event that Studio Five held a while ago; that was a lot of fun. We've also really enjoyed International Busking Day and Wembley Park Pride. Whenever the Stadium uses the arch for fireworks it's always a pretty amazing sight, and we're lucky enough to have a great view of it from the apartment.
What do you enjoy about renting a home with Quintain Living?
The quality of the apartments, the friends we've made through the various resident events over the years, and having the consistency of renting from an organisation rather than being at the whims of an individual landlord.
What does your typical day look like?
We both work hybrid, so some days at home and some in the office. We enjoy meeting our friends around Wembley Park for food and drinks. We also try to get out for a walk when we can, whether that's a circuit or two around the Stadium or, occasionally, further afield to local places like Fryent Country Park or the Welsh Harp (Brent Reservoir).
