Wembley Park presents ‘Christmas with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra at BOXPARK Wembley’. One Magical Night of Festive Favourites from Tchaikovsky to Taylor Swift

Wembley Park, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and BOXPARK Wembley have come together to present a one-night-only Christmas concert on Thursday 27 November 2025 at 7pm, with tickets starting from just £5, or free for under 18s.

Set in London’s largest BOXPARK, on Wembley Park’s iconic Olympic Way, the event will see a 45-piece orchestra bring festive favourites and symphonic sparkle to one of London’s most distinctive venues.

Following the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra’s recent move to its new headquarters on Wembley Park’s aptly named Allegro Lane, this collaboration marks the Orchestra’s first major public performance in the neighbourhood since the relocation.

Bringing together the prestige of one of the world’s leading orchestras with BOXPARK Wembley’s bold, contemporary edge, the concert reflects Wembley Park’s ambition to make world-class culture accessible and part of everyday life, all year round.

The concert programme spans more than a century of Christmas music, from the Overture to Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker to Taylor Swift’s Christmas Tree Farm, specially arranged for orchestra.

Blending tradition with contemporary pop sounds, the concert will feature everything from timeless classics such as White Christmas and Winter Wonderland to chart-topping hits including Mariah Carey’s All I Want for Christmas Is You - the only holiday song to hold a Guinness World Record for topping the Billboard Hot 100 four years running - and Wham!’s Last Christmas, the festive sensation that finally became the Christmas number one in 2023, 39 years after its release..

The concert will be conducted by Stephen Bell, one of the UK’s leading conductors of orchestral pops and festive repertoire, and will feature guest vocalist Sumudu Jayatilaka, known for her collaborations with Burt Bacharach, Dionne Warwick and Sir Van Morrison. The evening will also include lively audience singalong moments throughout.

Claudio Giambrone, Head of Cultural Programming at Wembley Park, comments: “We are committed to making culture accessible to everyone, bringing the arts to diverse and unexpected places, be they car parks, concrete steps, or green spaces. This special concert will see festive music spanning the past 130 years, performed live by the world-famous Royal Philharmonic Orchestra at BOXPARK Wembley for the first time, delivering another cultural first for the Wembley Park neighbourhood.”

Sarah Bardwell, Managing Director of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra said: ‘Our concert at BOXPARK will mark the Orchestra’s first appearance at Wembley Park since re-locating our headquarters to the estate in October. We’re hugely excited about the opportunities that lie ahead and are very much looking forward to meeting our new neighbours for a funpacked evening of great music-making, with a programme that promises to have something for everyone.’

David Byrne, Head of Events & Marketing at BOXPARK, said: "We’re thrilled to be teaming up with Wembley Park and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra to bring something truly unique to BOXPARK Wembley this Christmas. This event perfectly captures what BOXPARK is all about, creating unforgettable shared experiences that blend culture, community, and incredible live entertainment. It’s going to be an unforgettable night, hosting one of the world’s most prestigious 45-piece orchestras in our Wembley venue for a full live show, all brought to life with BOXPARK’s signature energy.”
