It can be hard to find fun and free things to do with the whole family in London.

Thankfully, Wembley Park is perfect for families, offering family-friendly dining, unique activities, and free events and entertainment. In addition, it's well-connected, traffic-free oasis with great transport links and plenty of baby-change facilities throughout the area, with something buzzy and fun always happening.

Things to do in Wembley for kids

Here are some of our favourite family activities at Wembley Park.

Eating out with kids can be a challenge. While some little ones are adventurous eaters, others have very definite ideas about they will and won't eat. Thankfully, Wembley Park has a wide array of restaurants that kids of all ages enjoy. The London Designer Outlet is home to all of your family's high street favourites, including Pizza Express, Pasta Remoli, Frankie & Benny's, Nando's, TGI Friday's, and Wagamama.

Byron Burgers, one of the most popular gourmet burger chains in the country, have tons of kid-friendly choices, including mini veggie, chicken, and beef burgers and kid-sized milkshakes. Finish it off with something every kid loves – puddings and sweets. Brand new to Wembley Park, Haute Dolci serves decadent desserts in a luxury setting. They even fly their award-winning gelato in from Italy – that's dedication to deliciousness.

Kids love playing at Wembley Park, especially in multiple playgrounds and play parks dotted around the area. Located opposite London Designer Outlet you'll find an all-weather play park, equipped with slide, climbing frame towers, shoots and more. Head to Union Park and you'll find our newest all-weather playpark with a wooden train and plenty of swings. Union Park is also home to another playpark, with adventurous jingle jims, climbing ropes and roundabouts. If it's a dry day, Elvin Gardens has a small but incredibly fun playground with climbing frames and shapes.

In search of some culture for your little ones? Wembley Park's free Art Trail allows you to learn about art and discover new artists alongside your kids. Walk throughout Wembley Park and admire all the vibrant pieces, from digital installations to colourful street art. Our free public art trail has an emphasis on art you can interact with (all ages welcome), so includes fascinating and playful pieces such as the Shadow Wall, designed by world famous Jason Bruges Studio, a light-based installation that mimics your movements. Dance, play and pose in front of the digital piece and watch your 'digital shadow' come to life. Kids are fascinated our public art – and don't be surprised if your jaw drops right alongside theirs. You can find out more about the Wembley Park Art Trail here.

Slightly older kids (and parents of course) will love some wild and wonderful play opportunities around Wembley Park. Together, you can play music-themed crazy golf at Pop Golf, throw axes at Bad Axe, or immerse yourselves in a virtual reality wonderland at meetspaceVR.

Whether it's relaxing in Elvin Gardens or running around in Union Park, Wembley Park's diverse collection of outdoor spaces are ideal for picnics, sipping a coffee, or just letting your kids blow off some steam. Discover the great Wembley Park outdoors here.
