The Frankie & Benny’s chain is run by the Restaurant Group. The first restaurant opened in the UK in 1995 though the brand has created a fictional back story that suggests its origins date back to 1924 (though this appears to be for marketing purposes only). Since then the brand has continued to grow and as of February 2020, there were 236 restaurants nationwide.
