Intimate Apparel Samples

Intimate Apparel Samples is a design and technical unit that specialises in the creation of lingerie, swimwear and athleisure.

Their aim is to provide efficient and enjoyable services for local and international clients and to help them make their designs a reality.

As well as creating lingerie, swimwear and athleisure, the team have also created samples and costumes for TV and film productions. This includes working with the BBC and Sky and also on films such as Pride and Prejudice and Zombies.

Behind the brand

Having worked with designers and clients in the past the brand is aware of complexities and hurdles that small fashion businesses are facing. As such, they aim to help brands realise their designs through samples, tech packs and small production runs.

No need for bulk orders like in many large factories, just small samples as low as 10 units per style.

They believe that having a successful brand and being able to create your garments should be accessible to all designers, which is why they are passionate about working with new clients.

About the founder

Maxine Wells is the founder of Intimate Apparel Samples. She also had her own label, Maxine’s of London, which she has designed, pattern cut and sampled beautiful high-end collections for in the past. However, she has made the decision to stop taking orders for her brand and focus all her efforts on Intimate Apparel Samples instead.

Maxine graduated from DeMontfort University with a degree in BA (Hons) Fashion and Contour and has since been nurturing her passion for helping other independent designers and small niche labels. She is a firm believer that small businesses should support one another.
