UEFA Women’s EURO 2022 are heading to Wembley Stadium in Wembley Park on 31st July for the all-important final!

To celebrate the incredible occasion, Brent have launched a full programme of arts and heritage activities to run alongside the tournament, with a packed programme of free events and art pieces all summer.

Stadium for the Future (If I can’t dance I don’t want to be part of your revolution) by Idle Women - Jason Roberts Foundation, Friday 29 July, 6-9pm

Women of Brent and beyond are invited by Idle Women to join in a celebration of empowerment, strength and dreaming big. Explore the role of women in designing a stadium for the future, with music by London's finest revival reggae DJ Texas Ranger, and dance and movement routines by Brent based, Sujata Banerjee Dance Company.

Wembley Stadium in Wembley Park

The Supercompensation Cycle by Emma Smith - Olympic Way, Wembley Park, Saturday 30th July, 2pm to 5pm

One day before the big final hits Wembley Stadium, an immersive and participatory artwork installation is launching down the iconic Olympic Way in Wembley Park. Eleven holographic films will be embedded on specially designed sculptures and you are invited to join performances of The Supercompensation Cycle on Saturday 30 July, Olympic Way 2-5pm.

The Beautiful Game, a new Anthem - Saturday 30 July, Olympic Way 1.30 – 3.30pm

Join our friends at the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra on Olympic Way, Wembley Park on Saturday 30th July as they perform, for the first time, a brand-new Anthem. Created by composer Shirley J. Thompson IBD and fans across the host cities, the new Anthem celebrated women footballers, everything they have achieved and the bright future of the game. Come and listen to ‘The Beautiful Game’ and a new Local Anthems performed by RPO quintets and the Brent Music Academy.

In Brent Civic Centre until 6th November, be awe-inspired by powerful portraits of Brent’s Female Football stars.

One two, one two: Inspirational Stories from Brent’s Women of Football - 6 to 30 July 2022, Wembley Park Boulevard and Bobby Moore Bridge

A free, interactive art installation, spot the old Wembley Stadium benches in Wembley Park, sit down and listen to inspirational stories from Brent’s Women of Football.
