Adam Azim faces former world champion Sergey Lipinets for the IBO World Super Lightweight Title on Saturday, February 1st at the OVO Arena Wembley in London.
The 22-year-old continues his meteoric rise as he returns following an emphatic eighth-round stoppage win over Ohara Davies in October. Having previously won and defended the European Title, Azim steps up to world level as he aims to prove he is ready to take on the best in the division.
Former IBF World Title holder Lipinets has established himself as one of the top contenders in the super lightweight and welterweight divisions with notable wins over former world champions Lamont Peterson and Omar Figueroa Jr. The Kazakhstan-born fighter is back in action after a thrilling victory over Azim’s countryman and former gym mate Robbie Davies Jr in May.
All the action is available to watch live and exclusively on Sky Sports in the UK and Ireland and on Peacock in the USA.
