Jubilee Dance Party at Wembley Park

Get your groove on with the Queen's Jubilee Dance Party

in Wembley Park

A HUGE thank you to everyone that made our Jubilee Dance Party possible and those that came down.

We loved seeing Wembley Park burst into a joyous celebration, with thousands of people coming down to dance, have fun, and be together in tribute to Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee. We look forward to seeing you at the next dance party.

Celebrate Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee with a FREE, fun-filled festival featuring live music, street theatre, family entertainment and a whole lot of dance.

Wembley Park will be transformed into a giant street party for the day to mark this once-in-a-lifetime moment, in collaboration with some of the UK’s most iconic dance institutions, including Rambert (coming to Wembley Park with Peaky Blinders this October) and Pineapple Dance Studios.

With five stages of live acts and DJs, join us to learn the moves and enjoy group dances from around the world, including Bollywood, TikTok, street, swing, Latin American, Caribbean and Rock ‘n’ Roll. You could also take a free Yoga or Zumba class,  or check out some of London’s finest street performers.

Swing Patrol, Bollywood Dance School, MoreYoga and others will also be teaching free classes, along with Britain’s Got Talent semi-finalists TNG who have performed with some of the UK’s biggest superstars, from Ed Sheeran to Stormzy and Little Mix.

You will also be able to pay your personal tribute to the Queen, by snapping a pic on the day to be added to a Photo Wall to create a giant digital portrait of Her Majesty, in honour of her 70-year reign.

FREE EVENT.

The ultimate street party

For those who prefer not to dance, don’t worry as we’ve got plenty for you. The street party is taking over the neighbourhood with free live music, family and kids' entertainment, stilt walkers, bubbleologists, pavement artists, circus acts, face painters and more. You can even get a snap with Queen Elizabeth II herself OR get your photo added to a giant mural of her in honour of the Platinum Jubilee.

Peaky Blinders: The Redemption of Thomas Shelby

Don’t miss Jubilee Dance Party instructors, Rambert, in their World Premiere production at Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre later this year, Peaky Blinders: The Redemption of Thomas Shelby. Running from 12th October to 6th November 2022, ahead of their 2023 UK tour, Peaky Blinders creator, Steven Knight, has written and adapted this first-of-its-kind production. Peaky Blinders: The Redemption of Thomas Shelby is Rambert’s branded first collaboration of this kind and through dance theatre tells the story of Tommy and Grace, from when they met during World War I while Tommy served as a Sergeant Major, and Grace was operating as an undercover agent for the Birmingham Police on a mission to get close to Shelby whom she fell in love with.
