Wembley Park Community Fund Abundance Art Heart

Wembley Park Community Fund

The Wembley Park Community Fund was founded in 2016 as partnership between our parent company Quintain, The London Community Foundation, The London Borough of Brent and contractors: Wates, McLaren, John Sisk & Son, and McAleer & Rushe who together are transforming Wembley Park into the place we love today.

The fund delivers grants to community sector organisations of between £5,000 and £10,000 and in 2020 the Fund was aligned with the UN Development Goals to deliver projects in priority areas of arts & culture, sport, reducing anti-social behaviour, tackling violent crime and supporting vulnerable adults.

Originally launched in 2017 with the ambition of giving £150,000 over three years, the Fund grew and was extended for a further year in 2020. When complete a total of £388,513 will have funded 43 projects in the local area.

Future Funding & Social Value

The Wembley Park Community Fund has reached a large audience, helping many people across Wembley Park and the wider Brent Area. We couldn’t be happier with the outcomes.

We are currently paused in between agreements with Quintain and our contractors for future phases of construction at Wembley Park. However, we will soon be reviewing our community programmes to ensure that we can deliver the best social return on our investments and deliver long-term benefits to Brent.
