Oakland is a London-based independent artist and songwriter with his mind set on becoming a regular fixture on the established club and pop scene. His track record of eight singles, has earned him radio plays in the US, Australia, Spain and the Netherlands and a loyal fanbase.
His penchant for producing dance friendly pop music, has in the past drawn comparisons with Darren Hayes, Simon Curtis and Olly Alexander. Now, Jonas is releasing his new single ‘Hot Summer Boys’, followed by additional songs in 2022.
Oaklands’ first single ‘Beat of My Heart’ landed him an interview on Larry Flick's Morning Jolt show on New York radio station Sirius XM, followed by radio appearances in countries such as Spain and Holland, taking his music to the international scene. His single ‘Where were you last night’ made it to the Top 10 iTunes Dance Chart, and with the follow-up single ‘When the Music Dies’ and an appearance on Australian JOY Radio, he continued growing his fanbase worldwide.
“Some years ago, I released my first single, embarking on an exciting journey that would take me to night club stages, radio shows from the US to Australia and most importantly bring new friends from across the world. Eight songs later, it’s time to write the next chapter with a new set of songs to inspire and put some dance-loving hoofs to work,” says he.
