Be ready to immerse yourself in YELLOW 25, a bold artistic tribute marking 25 years since Coldplay's breakthrough single first captured hearts worldwide. This large-scale installation arrives as the band prepares for their record-breaking 10-night run at Wembley Stadium, transforming one of London's most symbolic pedestrian routes into a celebration of British pop music's lasting legacy.
Walk the Song. 58 Steps of Yellow.
Step into Wembley Park's Spanish Steps and you'll find yourself inside one of Coldplay's most beloved songs. Pantone's colour experts have turned the emotional journey of 'Yellow' into something you can actually experience, step by step across all 58 stairs.
As you climb, the colours shift from pale, muted tones and building to deeper, more luminous golds to reflect the song's progression - just like the way the music builds from quiet verses to that unforgettable chorus.
It's a magical way to connect Wembley Stadium and the OVO Arena Wembley, turning your walk between two of the UK's most famous venues into a moment with one of Britain's greatest songs.

Wembley Park x Pantone
Commissioned by Wembley Park and created by Pantone, YELLOW 25 transforms one of London’s most recognisable public steps into a large-scale, immersive artwork. Experts at the Pantone Color Institute matched every step to a distinct shade from the Pantone Matching System™, turning Coldplay’s Yellow into a visual journey from muted, delicate tones to deep, luminous golds.
Framed in Pantone’s iconic colour chip style, the installation is both a striking photo spot and a heartfelt tribute to Coldplay’s breakthrough single, first released on 26 June 2000. YELLOW 25 launches ahead of the band’s record-breaking 10-night run at Wembley Stadium as part of their Music of the Spheres World Tour.

About the Pantone Color Institute™
Pantone Color Institute works with global brands and creatives to harness colour as a storytelling tool, from its trend-setting Colour of the Year to brand collaborations across fashion, design, and architecture.
For YELLOW 25, Creative Director Jane Boddy led the team translating the emotion and energy of Yellow into 58 distinct shades.
Colour, just like music, is a very emotional form of communication. We were inspired to explore how sound and colour can work together to express the feeling of Coldplay’s iconic Yellow, and how the emotional journey of the song could be visually represented through the steps at Wembley Park.
Visitor Information
YELLOW 25 is free and open 24/7. You’ll find it on the Spanish Steps between Wembley Park Boulevard and Olympic Way, nestled between the OVO Arena and Wembley Stadium.
