The Nachos Navidad (Christmas Nachos) will get you in a seasonal mood (vegan option available), and the Cha Cha Chorizo, braised in rich red wine, will have you dreaming of next year’s Christmas in Latin America...
Of course, every time of year is a good time for bottomless brunch. Las Iguanas serves up their decadent brunch menu (think breakfast burritos, cheese and mango empanadas, and delicious burgers) paired with unlimited prosecco and draught beer for just £24.95. For £5 more, upgrade to bottomless cocktails – you’ll have a spectacular afternoon out.
Costa Coffee, located in the London Designer Outlet, has a whole menu of festive favourites that will excite your senses. In addition to their decadent drinks offerings (Irish Velvet Hot Chocolate and Cream, anyone?), they have some amazing sweets and savouries for the season. They’ve really gone all out.
Start with a Lobster Toastie, a seeded bloomer filled with Emmental, mozzarella, and Cheddar, mustardy bechamel sauce, and of course – chunks of fresh lobster. You could also tuck into some Pigs and Blankets Mac & Cheese, topped with a spinach and parsley crumb. Room for dessert? Finish with an After Eight chocolate muffin or a slice of Rich Chocolate and Hazelnut Shimmer Cake.
You might think of Caffé Nero as a coffee destination, but don’t forget about their tasty food options, which get even more impressive at Christmas.
Their Pigs on Blankets Tostati Melt will get you drooling - British pork sausages wrapped in beechwood smoked bacon and topped with cranberry sauce, served on fresh cheese and cranberry bread. You’ll also love their Brie, Bacon, and Cranberry Panini, loaded with gorgeous brie, beechwood smoked bacon, and lashings on cranberry.
But we can’t forget about the drinks, now can we? Wash it all down with a gingerbread latte, salted caramel latte, or a roasted hazelnut hot chocolate.
Pret A Manger
No British festive season would be complete without one of Pret’s iconic Christmas Lunch Sandwich, available for only a short time each year. The classic is loaded with British turkey, port & orange cranberry sauce, herby pork stuffing, and deliciously crispy onions. Vegetarians and vegans aren’t left out in the cold – the Vegan Christmas Nut Roast will satisfy all holiday flavour cravings.
Their sandwiches just beg to be paired with a decadent seasonal drink – slurp a Gingerbread Latte, Salted Caramel Latte, or a S’mores Hot Chocolate.
As you can see, there are flavours, drinks, and treats for every palate, dietary need, and budget this Christmas at Wembley Park. Have a wonderful – and tasty – holiday season.
